History
The front-wheel-drive Saab 99 EMS dominated 1970s snow stages with its 220 hp slant-four engine. While Eklund retired from the '77 event due to mechanical issues, teammate Stig Blomqvist won in a sister car, solidifying the 99 EMS as a Scandinavian rally icon.
